Some Texas Memories.....

Here's my hubby standing in front of the doors at the Alamo in San Antonio.......

doesn't he look great!......having some supper sitting at the Riverwalk.....

...hubby was fascinated by the huge cactus and had me stand in front of it! :0)

...hubby just loves visiting anything historical so we spent a couple of hours at the Battleship Texas!.........

...and this is what I did a lot of at the hotel while hubby was at his seminar....quilting Verity's quilt.....it's comin'...slow but sure!
Good memories....we were just thinking last might that a week ago we had just arrived in Texas and now here we are...back to the same old, same old......it was a fabulous break and we enjoyed having the time together .........the very most important part of getting away!

my very best friend is a quilter and I've been blessed with quilts galore by her. They're definitely gifts from the heart and hands! Glad we could get to meet you through company girl coffee this morning!!

Looks like you had a great time! I always say that it's always great to go away, but it's always great to come back home!

I hope you had a wonderful time! I LOVE San Antonio - it's where my DH and I met, and we have some great friends there. And isn't it great to enjoy short-sleeves weather?

Glad you enjoyed your trip to Texas. Your quilt is lovely! Quilting is new to me but I have not yet tackled the actual QUILTING part - I'm still paying someone to do that. :)

Sounds like a nice trip! My mom is a quilter too. I've run out of room to put the ones she's made us. LOL

I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area so we don't have a lot of cacti around here, but when we went to Arizona for short-term missions (in the Indian reservations) we saw a ton when we landed in Phoenix. They're interesting plants. Have a great Sunday!

I'm glad you had a wonderful trip to the great state of Texas! It's always nice when you can combine a business trip with fun. It's been while since I've been to San Antonio, but I'd love to get back there.

You'll have to show your quilt when you are all done!
