Good Morning Company Girls!!
This is William.....he is my youngest grandchild....well, youngest that is born right now....his mommy is expecting a little brother for William to play with this August...and today...William is coming here..to nana and papa's house while mommy and daddy get a well deserved little getaway overnight! I have a funny feeling that papa and I wont be getting too much rest in the next 24 hours..but that's okay..we'll survive! This is my sister Adele, yesterday she was admitted into the hospital with a very resilient infection in her ear that is not responding to medications by mouth and so they want to get her them into her via intravenous. She was away last week in Florida and thinks she may have picked it up in the swimming pool where they were staying. She's been quite ill for over ten days now....I hope these I.V. meds will do the trick!

It's been quite the week...my days have been turned upside down, backwards and inside out....we had a snowstorm on Wednesday that closed the schools for the day....good grief..I just got the kids back to school from March Break! On Tuesday I had to miss quilt class when both Megan and Ben had dentist appointments in the morning and then in the afternoon I took my sister's place (she usually does the 'mom appointments').....and took my mom to the dentist....at least I got a lot of reading done in my book!

Yesterday I took Megan to the orthodontist and in the afternoon I had a much needed massage....the evening was spent with my sister and her hubby at the hospital while she was being admitted. Today is busy, busy, busy...have to get myself into high gear and tidy up the house to prepare for William coming...he's walking now so I imagine there's all sorts of things that I will be putting up to a much safer level! To find out more of what's been going on in our house please check out my previous post....any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Take care and have a great weekend!

I am positive William's mom and dad appreciate you watching him so they can enjoy their time. So sweet.

Hope your sister is doing better now.

You are always in my prayers Marie. May our Lord grant you strength for each day and a peace that passes all understanding.

I hope you and your grandbaby had fun and that he let you rest a little.

Hopefully your sister is feeling better now too.

My youngest daughter got an earinfection at 12 months old that was caused by resistant pneumococ bacterias. She had to have a pic line put in and have intravenous antibiotic once a day for a whole month. She also had to take one oral one and one drip one in her ear. All of this I had to administer to her by myself, but it was fine as we even went camping during this ordeal.
Now she is fine other than being born with a underdeveloped imunesystem and a bonemarrow that don't produce enough white bloodcells yet.
Your sister should be fine in a little while as long as she follows doctors orders.
Take care and enjoy spending time with your adorable grandson.

OH, I am so sorry about all that you are going through right now. Know that you and your family are always in my prayers. I wish I had great wisdom or advice to bestow upon you...but just know that I truly believe that you are doing amazing things already. You have given those children loving homes and have spoken the truth of Jesus to them over and over. You just keep being Jesus to them and praying and maybe, one day, they will see the truth.

Enjoy the weekend with the baby...I am sure you won't get much rest, but will have great memories.

Blessings, my precious friend.

Sounds like a fun weekend for everyone -- grandparents, parents, and grandbaby -- yea for you for giving William's parents a little get-away break. I'm sure they appreciate it. I did go back and read your Emma post. . .friend, you are equipped for He will not give you more than you can handle. It seems you are reaching out, taking advice, and praying. . .already that is more than what she had. It's just tough-going on your family now so at this moment there are prayers being lifted for you. I hope you will soon see some fruit from these changes you are making. Prayers for your sister too!
